MTN Teams Up With Apple Music To A 6-month Free Trial To Users In Nigeria

MTN and Apple Music have formalized a cooperation in order to provide its Nigerian subscribers with access to its services in the face of card payment issues.
MTN has teamed with Apple Music, one of the world’s largest digital streaming platforms, to allow users in Nigeria to use its services without having to worry about how to make payments using their naira cards.
A’isha Umar-Mumuni, who is the Chief Digital Officer for MTN Nigeria, revealed: “We are always on the lookout for opportunities that allow us to do more for our customers and provide them with resources and tools that fit into their lifestyle.
Music is an important element of our lives as Africans. With this collaboration, we hope to expand music distribution in Nigeria and make consumption more convenient for Nigerians. Apple Music’s repertoire contains millions of music of both domestic and international origin. We are delighted about the prospects of this collaboration and look forward to exciting times.”
New and existing Apple Music subscribers can join up using the MTN Play portal at https://play.mtn.ng/apple-music; alternatively they can utilize the myMTN App and visit the MTN official website at www.mtn.ng.
Subscriptions are simple to set up using the shortcode: *447*2*4*1# or by texting “MUSIC” to 8000.
