Ayra Starr, Aa, Gyakie, Somi, DBN Gogo, Yemi Alade, Fave, Soraia Ramos, and Sio are among the other important female artists featured on the program. The Equal campaign aims to draw attention to female podcasters and artists across the globe. It is part of the Equal Hub, which was launched in honor of International Women’s Day to expand the company’s global commitment to advancing gender equality in the music industry and supporting female artists. I feel deeply honored by @spotify @spotifyafrica to be named #Equal artist for the month of April. It has long been my passion to inspire women to do more and be more; Baaba J wrote on Twitter. This accomplishment comes shortly after putting out a song titled ‘Ole,’ that is performing enormously well across all music platforms.
