New York City police arrested a suspect in the fatal stabbing of a man that was caught on surveillance video early Monday in the Brooklyn borough.
Ryan Carson, 32, of Brooklyn, was killed in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood shortly before 4 a.m. Monday, police said. Officers found him with multiple stab wounds to the chest. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead. An arrest was made in connection with his death, police said Thursday morning. The suspect was identified as 18-year-old Bryan Dowling of Brooklyn. Law enforcement body camera video was released Monday in the violent arrest Friday of a 24-year-old Black man who suffered what appeared to be significant facial swelling in the encounter. Le?Keian Woods was injured when he fled from a drug dealing arrest, and officers believed he was armed, the Jacksonville Sheriff?s Office officials said. WTLV’s Atyia Collins reports. This is the shocking moment black partygoers leapt for cover as a white neighbor sprayed them with a hose at a surprise birthday dinner hosted by a prominent New York City doctor for his sister.
The 19 revelers filed a lawsuit against Marcus Rosebrock this month alleging he used the tactic as a tool ‘reminiscent’ of 1960s Birmingham, Alabama – when white cops would use fire hoses to break up black civil rights activists. The video, from Queens, New York City, was shot at around 9:50pm on a Sunday night in September 2022 and released on Wednesday by their attorneys. They appear astounded by the incident and are seen wiping away the initial spray of water from their faces. “A Charlotte County family is speaking out, for help in filing a complaint with the US Department of Justice.
The family says they have seen a shift in their daughter’s self-esteem since the alleged racial attacks started happening at school. “I just kinda went to the corner, I put my hands up and I just sat there and took it,” Clay said, referring to a time when her volleyball teammates were on video allegedly saying she didn’t pick her cotton today and hit her with pillows.
