Sharks can get much, much closer to you without you noticing than you thought!
Sharks have enormous ranges and can cover great distances with ease, which means they can surprise beachgoers anywhere along the coast. They can be seen in depths as low as 3 meters or 20 to 30 feet from shore, and most attacks occur in 6 to 10 feet of water, but they rarely attack humans.
