Manila K-pop concert ‘The Super Stage’, which was set to be held next month, has been cancelled.

Yesterday (July 25), event organiser OctoArts Entertainment announced on Twitter that ‘The Super Stage’ would no longer be moving ahead. The company did not give a reason for the K-pop concert’s cancellation.

‘The Super Stage’ was originally set to be held at SM Mall of Asia Arena on August 11 at 7pm. The event was slated to feature four K-pop acts: Sandara Park, MAMAMOO+, Kep1er and Lapillus.

In its tweet, OctoArts Entertainment also listed out guidelines to get refunds for ‘The Super Stage’ by K-pop. Check out the full statement below for all the relevant information.

In other concert news, K-hip-hop trio Epik High have announced new Asian dates and cities for their 2023 ‘All Time High’ tour, featuring shows in the cities of Taipei, Macau and Singapore.

2PM member Taecyeon is also set to visit Asia in the coming months for his upcoming 2023 ‘Speciality’ Fanmeeting tour, with shows in Manila, Hong Kong, Jakarta and more.

Elsewhere, K-pop boyband EXO are set to hold a meet and greet event called ‘Glow to You’ in Jakarta this August, in partnership with beauty brand Scarlett Whitening.

According to the newly released poster for the event, only six of the boyband’s nine members will be in attendance, namely: Xiumin, Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, D.O. and Chanyeol.
