Watch NewJeans’ exciting music video for new single ‘ETA’

NewJeans have dropped their music video for ‘ETA’, from their new sophomore mini-album ‘Get Up’.

The clip opens with NewJeans videocalling a friend while at a pool party, informing them that their boyfriend is flirting with someone else. The girl group give their friend sporadic updates while performing the new song, as their friend rushes over through busy city streets.

“My heart hurts when you can’t let him go / Trust me you deserve better than that / I’ll give you a hand, he’s just playin’ / Boys be always lying, yeah,” NewJeans sing on the song. Notably, the music video was shot entirely on iPhone 14 Pro, in collaboration with Apple.

‘ETA’ is the title track of NewJeans’ sophomore mini-album ‘Get Up’, which is out now. The record also features the previously released songs ‘Super Shy’, ‘Cool With You’, ‘New Jeans’ and ‘Get Up’, as well as closing track ‘ASAP’.

NewJeans previously teamed up with Jon Batiste, J.I.D, Camilo and Cat Burns on the song ‘Be Who You Are (Real Magic)’, which launched the second season of drink band Coca-Cola’s Coke Studio.

Meanwhile, NewJeans member Danielle previously released her version of ‘Part of Your World’ for the live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid. Danielle is the voice actor for lead character Ariel in the Korean version of the Disney film.

The K-pop girl group also recently became the fastest K-pop act to hit 1billion streams on Spotify, reaching the milestone in 219 days and with only seven released songs. They broke previous records held by Jungkook of BTS (409 days) and Lisa of BLACKPINK (411 days).
