De Mthuda x Da Muziqal Chef “Sgudi Snyc”

Revered producer De Mthuda teamed up with his frequent collaborator, Da Muziqal Chef for their joint EP, Sgudi Snyc. The title track is a nostalgia-inducing masterpiece that is an ode to a 90s/2000s sitcom of the same name, which starred the legendary Joe Mafela as Sdumo. The 5-track project also has contributions from Sam Deep, Mkeyz, Kwiish SA, Azana and Lannie Billion.

Pabi Cooper & Yumbs “Dali Wam” ft. MaWhoo & Nkosazana Daughter

After teasing the song for a minute, Pabi Cooper and Yumbs finally released their star-studded track, “Dali Wam.” The MaWhoo and Nkosazana Daughter-featuring song, sees the vocalists take turns to express their longing for their long-distance romantic partners.

Kabza De Small x DJ Maphorisa ‘The Konka Mixtape: Sweet & Dust’

The pioneering duo of Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa is a gift that keeps giving. As they are affectionately known, the Scorpion Kings put out a 25-track mixtape, named after the infamous club, Konka. The tape has a host of collaborators from Elaine and Makhadzi to Kelvin Momo and Felo Le Tee. Along with the new incredible compositions, the two superstars revamped their classics “Nana Thula” and “Amantombazane,” which the fans have welcomed.

Njelic “Izinto Zimane Zijike” ft. Mkeyz, Thabza Tee, Rhythm Tee

Garage FM head honcho Njelic joined efforts with crooner Mkeyz and producers Thabza Tee and Rhythm Tee for his latest single “Izinto Zimane Zijike.” The infectious record explores the theme of not looking down on one another cause things change and life can always flip around.

Nkosazana Daughter, Kabza De Small & DJ Maphorisa “Uzongenzani”

“Sofa Silahlane” hitmaker, Nkosazana Daughter dropped a new single alongside the Scorpion Kings, Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa. On “Uzongenzani,” the esteemed vocalistic opens up about how no one can do anything to her because she is protected by her ancestors. The song serves as a precursor to her forthcoming debut album.

Mashudu “Kwalula” ft. Soa mattrix, Happy Jazzman & Faith Strings

The cast responsible for the hit “Mina Nawe” came together again for Mashudu’s debut single, “Kwalula.” On the song, the ascending vocalist expresses how easy it is to love her partner over a guitar-drenched beat. “I wrote ‘Kwalula’ from a space of love… a space where you love someone and feel free to fully open up to them emotionally and mentally, making it easy to love them because they can relate to your challenges and struggles on many levels,” Mashudu stated in a press release.

MDU a.k.a TRP x Semi Tee “Ovii” feat. Malemon & Mashudu

Innovative producer/DJ MDU a.k.a TRP and Semi Tee finally put out their street banger “Ovii.” The song has been doing rounds in venues/clubs and events for a couple of months before its official release. The pair most notably worked together on their joint album, Tales of The 2 Peers in 2021 and on “Ovii” they also tagged along their frequent collaborators, Malemon and Mashudu.

Major Keys “Forever Yena 2.0”

Flipping viral clips to make a song is a recurring trend in amapiano. For his latest single, rising producer Major Keys borrowed from a popular TikTok video and uses the vocals abstract to churn out a banger. “Forever Yena 2.0” quickly spread on the platform, partly due to a dance challenge.

Myztro “Myztro Ah Ah” feat. Xduppy, ShaunMusiQ & Ftears

Myztro doesn’t seem to be not letting up this year. The charismatic producer/DJ is back with another hit, the aptly-titled “Myztro Ah Ah” alongside frequent collaborators Xduppy, ShaunMusiQ and Ftears.

Young producer/DJ uLazi shared the visuals to his viral track “Yey.” Charged by its TikTok dance challenge, the song has gained popularity over the past month and has many people attempting the choreography.
