Simple Plan announce Southeast Asia tour dates in Singapore, the Philippines and more

Veteran pop-punk band Simple Plan have announced a Southeast Asia tour that includes stops in Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.

The Southeast Asia leg of Simple Plan’s The Harder Than It Looks tour will kick off on March 4 with a performance at the Everblast Festival in Jakarta, Indonesia on March 4 alongside Hoobastank and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus before the band hold the first headlining show of their tour at the W Superclub in Surabaya on March 5. Tickets for Everblast Festival are now available at IDR1,450,000 via the festival website, while ticketing details for the Surabaya concert have yet to be released.

The Singapore concert will take place on March 7 at the Hard Rock Coliseum in Sentosa Island, Singapore. Tickets are available for purchase now via SISTIC at SGD$118. Get your tickets here.

Following the Singapore concert, Simple Plan head to the Zepp KL concert hall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on March 8. Ticket details have yet to be released for the show.

Simple Plan then fly to the Philippines, where they will perform at Manila’s New Frontier Theater March 12 and in Davao on March 13 at the SMX Convention Center Davao. Tickets are set to go on sale this January 15 via TicketNet, though ticket prices have yet to be released.

It is unclear if additional Southeast Asia tour dates will be announced.

Simple Plan’s upcoming Southeast Asia tour will be in support of their latest album, ‘Harder Than It Looks’. That album released in May 2022 and features key singles ‘Wake Me Up (When The Nightmare’s Over)’, ‘Ruin My Life’ featuring Deryck Whibley and ‘The Antidote’.

The upcoming concert in Singapore will mark the band’s first in the city-state since 2016.

In other concert news, several high-profile concerts scheduled to take place in 2022 in Singapore include two Phoebe Bridgers shows, Arctic Monkeys‘ Singapore debut, Trivium‘s Singapore debut, Harry Styles, Men I Trust, Kings Of Convenience, Cigarettes After Sex and Westlife, who will be performing a record-breaking three shows back-to-back at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
