MAMAMOO announce additional dates in Taiwan, Jakarta and Singapore for ‘MY CON’ world tour

MAMAMOO have added several shows in Taiwan, Jakarta and Singapore for their ‘MY CON’ world tour.

On December 11, MAMAMOO shared an updated poster for the upcoming Asia leg of their ‘MY CON’ tour, which include a new stop in Jakarta, Indonesia as well as additional dates for their Taiwan and Singapore shows.

The girl group will now be playing an additional concert in Taipei, Taiwan on January 15 and a Jakarta show on February 5. Tickets to the additional Taiwan show are available on tixCraft from NT$2800, Tickets to their Jakarta show can be purchased on Sun Bright Entertainment’s website, with prices upwards of IDR1,400,000.

The new Singapore stop was first announced by organisers CK Entertainment last week. Set to take place on February 8 (Wednesday), a day before their original sold-out concert,the new show will also held at The Star Theatre. Tickets are priced from S$128, and sales began earlier today (December 12) at 12PM local time on TicketMaster. 

The first Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Taiwan shows were announced as part of the Asian leg of MAMAMOO’s ‘MY CON’ world tour back in November. They were in addition to previously announced concerts in Seoul, Chiba and Taiwan. All previously-announced Asia dates have since sold out.

On top of their headlining concerts in the region, MAMAMOO will also be heading to Jakarta as part of the performing line-up for SarangiraneunIreumeuro. The music festival – which also features K-pop boybandn ONEUS and Indonesian band The Overtunes as performers – is slated to take place on December 17 at Jiexpo Kemayoran. The ‘MY CON’ kick-off concerts in Seoul took place last month, from November 18 to November 20, at the Olympic Park Olympic Hall in Seoul. They will then head to Chiba, Japan later this month for two nights before they’re due to return to Taipei, Taiwan in January 2023.

The ‘MY CON’ world tour will be in support of their most recently released mini-album ‘Mic ON’ in early October. That EP was headlined by title track ‘ILLELLA’, and includes an additional two B-side tracks. It was the girl group’s first release as a complete group in over a year, their last being their ‘I Say MAMAMOO: The Best’ compilation album in September 2021.

Member Wheein also recently collaborated with Korean singer-songwriter Colde on a standalone single titled ‘Sunny Shower’. Both co-written and co-composed by Colde, it marked Wheein’s second collaboration this year after she teamed up with VIXX’s Ravi on ‘Bye’.
