ITZY add second Manila concert to ‘Checkmate’ world tour in Southeast Asia

ITZY have announced an additional show in Manila for the upcoming Southeast Asian leg of their ongoing ‘Checkmate’ world tour.

Yesterday (November 13), Live Nation Philippines announced that ITZY would be adding a second date to their upcoming ‘Checkmate’ world tour in Manila. This is in addition to original Southeast Asian tour dates announced last month.

ITZY’s ‘Checkmate’ concert in Manila set for Saturday, January 14 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena sold out shortly after tickets went on sale to the general public on November 12, prompting organisers to announce a second show on January 15. Limited tickets to the second night of ITZY’s ‘Checkmate’ tour in Manila are now available via SM Tickets.

The girl group’s upcoming Singapore concert, set for Saturday, January 28 also sold out shortly after tickets went on sale on that same day. Limited tickets to ITZY’s Jakarta concert set for Saturday, February 4 at Tennis Indoor Senayan are still available via concert organisers Mecima.

At the time of publishing, both ITZY and the related concert organisers in Singapore and Indonesia have not shared if they intend to add new shows at these locations.

ITZY have also yet to announce ticketing details for their Bangkok, Thailand show, which will take place on Saturday, April 8. Shortly before kicking off their North American ‘Checkmate’ tour in late October, the quintet dropped their first-ever English-language single ‘Boys Like You’.

6The new track also acts as the lead single of their upcoming mini-album ‘Cheshire’, due out on November 30. The girl group will be debuting the performance of their new title track at this year’s MAMA Awards on the same day.
