The 30-year-old rapper spent a tense 10 days in custody at a detention center in South Georgia because his visa had expired in 2006. Joseph, who arrived in the U.S. at the age of 7, shared with AP in a 2019 interview that the visa application process can be disheartening, as it seems to loom over you indefinitely.
