High school students in Perkiomen Valley School District staged the protest after officials opted not to adopt a policy that would force students to use restrooms which correspond with their biological sex. William Albrecht admits he was speeding but it was because he was headed to a veterinarian’s office after the family dog was hit by a car. Albrecht pleaded with the cop to let him get help for his injured dog. His 16-year-old son was also forced to kneel down and was handcuffed. 27-year-old Keishaun Sims entered the Youngstown Police Department lobby in emotional distress. The officer assigned to the auxiliary office, taking on station reports, initially attempted to engage with Sims, however the situation escalated. Sims became confrontational and a physical altercation took place involving both the officer and Sims.
