Nominees for the highly anticipated 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards. Topping the list of nominees are none other than Cardi B and 21 Savage, both boasting an impressive 12 nominations each. These two acclaimed artists are set to go head-to-head in seven distinct categories, including Best Collaboration, Lyricist of the Year, Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, Hustler of the Year, Best Hip-Hop Video, Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse, and Song of the Year. Furthermore, the global influence of Afrobeats has received notable recognition, with nominations spanning eight different categories. Nigerian sensation Burna Boy emerges as a standout nominee, securing nominations in seven diverse categories. Additionally, Ghana’s own Black Sherif has earned a well-deserved nod. The excitement around the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards continues to build as the show is scheduled to tape in Atlanta on Tuesday, Oct. 3. The premiere is set for one week later, on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, exclusively on BET.
