The Hadza people, residing in Tanzania near Lake Eyasi, are one of the world’s last surviving hunter-gatherer communities, and they have a unique-sounding language!

Their spoken language, known as Hadzane, is characterized by the use of click sounds, making it distinct from any other language in the world.

The language and culture of this community are in danger because of tourism and other languages that are more widely spoken, and if the traditional culture of the Hadza changes much more, their unique clicking language may eventually disappear altogether.

Researchers are trying to document and save Hadzane before that happens since it is such a rare language. Posted By Ghost
