Amaaare Will Not Be Performing At The 24th VGMA – These Are The Reasons

Ghanaian-American singer Amaarae has expressed her regret over not being able to perform at the upcoming 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, which is scheduled to take place on May 6th, 2023, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Center. The singer cited a miscommunication regarding the date change as the reason for her absence, despite having everything set up for her performance.
In her statement, Amaarae said, “My deepest apologies to everyone. We had everything set up. My creative director had been drawing up a stage plan & lighting concept, my exec-producer was working on the music, we had dancers, rehearsal space etc lined up. My priority is always to give the best quality possible. There was a slight miscommunication in date change but we love Charter House & can’t wait to try again next year ❤️🙏🏾”
Despite the setback, Amaarae expressed her love for Charter House, the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, and her eagerness to perform at the event in the future. Fans of the artist will undoubtedly be disappointed by her absence, but will undoubtedly be looking forward to seeing her in action in the near future.
