All across the world and in North America, Afrobeats are in vogue. Since then, Nigerian musicians have secured collaborations with some of the biggest names in the world, who are eager to collaborate with them. Hits like “Essence Remix,” “For My Hand,” “Peru,” and most recently, “Calm Down Remix” were created as a result of the collaborations. Usher has been busiest this year, performing to ecstatic crowds as part of his “My Way” residency in Las Vegas. He recently made headlines when he was seen in the recording studio with Afrobeats superstar Davido.
