With one of his best albums, “Made In Lagos,” Wizkid broke numerous records and made history by becoming the first African musician to accomplish an unheard-of feat in the US. The RIAA has given Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” album a gold certification in the US; he is the only African artist to do so. The RIAA awarded the album gold status on August 25, 2022, after it had sold over 500,000 units in the US since its release on October 29, 2020.
