Sarkodie – Jigger (Remix) Sarkodie, the most decorated rapper in Africa, has worked on songs with up-and-coming Ghanaian singers throughout the years to help them shine. Using his platform to promote these talents to a wider audience, he has played a significant role in the success of several of Ghana’s current music artists, including King Promise, Strongman, Kelvyn Boy, Black Sherif, and others. Sarkodie keeps up his fantastic work with Kumasi-based rap duo G-Migos, a musical group from Ghana. G-Migos was a trailblazer of the well-known Kumerican movement, which was quite popular in 2020. G-Migos have been tagging Sarkodie in most of their freestyle releases in an effort to get his attention on social media for some time. Sarkodie has commented on a few of their posts, which was a clear sign that he was interested in working with these young rappers. Not so long ago, G-Migos asked Sarkodie on Twitter for a verse on the already-released single “Jigger,” which will be re-released as a remix. Sarkodie complied with the request and provided his verse within a short period of time. The official song is finally available, and Sarkodie felt compelled to remind everyone why he is the best rapper in Africa. Joeboy – Contour Following his performance of the song “Spiritual Gbedu” on the COLORS SHOW, Nigerian Afro-fusion musician Joeboy keeps the momentum with a brand-new single titled ‘Contour.’ The audio version of the song has racked up massive streaming figures across all platforms, paving the way for the release of the brand-new single. Contour, a new song by Joeboy, is a magnificent, laidback Afrobeat tune with captivating vocals and a lush Tempoe production. Asake – Terminator Since the debut of the smash single “Omo Ope,” which features prominent rapper Olamide, Asake has had the whole music business in it’s grip for at least seven months. Asake has continued to perform ever then, going on what many would consider being “one of the best breakthrough runs in the Nigerian music industry.” Asake has been on fire, to put it mildly, and has approximately 6 hit records under his belt as both a lead and a featured artist. This has led many to wonder what his next course of action would be. It’s very evident that Asake will soon release his debut album, entitled “Money Money With The Vibe,” but in the interim, he has released a new song that already has the makings of a success. Asake, the hot-on-the-streets star of YBNL, has released a brand-new song titled “Terminator” as his most recent offering. The song, which is his fourth release as a lead artist this year, is a follow-up to the infectious “Peace Be Unto You (PBUY)”. Pheelz ft. Davido – Electricity Pheelz and Davido finally put out their collaboration after weeks of suspense on social media. Fans have eagerly anticipated the release of the monster track “Electricity,” which is being spearheaded by Davido and buzzing beatsmith and singer Pheelz. It also provides a route to his upcoming project, which is now under development. M.I. Abaga ft. Duncan Mighty – Front Door ‘Front Door’ is the fifth song housed under M.I. Abaga’s latest studio album ‘The Guy’ and it features celebrated Nigerian singer-songwriter Duncan Mighty. Jude Abaga, aka M.I. Abaga, must be included as a key player in order for the discussion regarding the origins, ascent, and apex of hip-hop in Nigeria and Africa to make sense. He is one of the greatest rappers to come out of Africa, having released six excellent studio albums. M.I. Abaga releases his sixth studio album today, completing his sextuple. His first solo effort since 2019 is called “The Guy,” and it is his debut album.
