After a lengthy absence, talented rapper and performer Black Sherif from Ghana is returning to the music scene. Black Sherif is yet to release a follow-up song after the success of his debut 2022 release, “Kwaku The Traveler,” which had the entire world in a chokehold. Although he hasn’t released any new music, the tracks he’s worked on with artists like Poco Lee, Smallgod, and DJ Breezy have all done incredibly well. In addition, he was nominated for the Best International Flow award at the upcoming BET Hip-hop Awards just a week ago, making him the second Ghanaian rapper ever to receive the distinction after Sarkodie. Black Sherif’s second official single of 2022, “Soja,” is slated to be released on October 22, 2022, via EMPIRE. It comes out weeks before his major shows in the UK and the US.
