The former intelligence officer David Grusch says he faced ‘very brutal’ retaliation after going public with claims that the US government conducted a multi-decade programme that collected, and attempted to reverse engineer, crashed UFOs. Grusch took part in a congressional hearing where he laid out allegations against his former employee, stating information came from multiple colleagues but that he could not go ‘into specifics’ over the coverup claims. “The 19-second footage, which is often claimed to be a clip of the lengthy video, shows a round, saucer-shaped object (like in McMinnville UFO photographs) hovering near an airplane and then moving forward, maneuvering below the aircraft wing, and flying upward. It is said to be a screen recording of the actual video. There are many theories on the origin of the video. It was published on the Internet several times in the late 2000s, which makes it difficult to find out its original date.
The earliest source of the video publication is YouTube. It was uploaded by a user “frossani” on March 6, 2008, with the caption “UFO from plane.” The user described that the UFO was captured from the window of a Blue Panorama flight from Rome to Paris, on April 29, 2006. But there are other sources saying it was shot in the 1990s with the description: “Clear full evidence of military tested saucer reproductions over U.S skies around Nevada Desert. It can be hard to believe UFO sightings when they’re reported and filmed by random people who live by themselves in the middle of nowhere. But when they’re filmed by NASA, it’s a whole different ball game.
This black object was filmed by a camera aboard the International Space Station for 22 minutes before it moved above the camera’s range. Allegedly the object was bus-sized. The UFO bears a striking resemblance to the Black Knight Satellite, an object that some people believe is of extra-terrestrial origins, and has been orbiting Earth for thousands of years. Of course, all of this is just conjecture, but the object was interesting enough for ISS crew to film it for 22 minutes. “It appears to be going up because it’s on a slightly different trajectory as it goes around the Earth,” Aren commented. That makes sense, and points to the object being some sort of satellite or even space debris. “This is some old footage of a hatch cover that floated away,” davidandcricket suggested. While that is a possibility, I was unable to find any version of this footage posted before this year. The ISS is obviously a state-of-the-art operation, and it’s frustrating to see its cameras suffer from the standard dip in fidelity when filming UFOs. We’ll chock this one up to a satellite.
