On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, shortly before 5:00 p.m., a Louisiana State Trooper conducted a traffic stop involving a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro on Louisiana Highway 17, near Winnsboro, for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, the Trooper noticed bullet holes in the driver�s side of the vehicle. The driver gave verbal consent for the Trooper to search the vehicle. During the search, the Trooper discovered the deceased body of 23�year-old Michael Robinson Jr. of Monroe, in the trunk. Posted by JR |

An Indiana State Police trooper has died following a crash in Hendricks County on Wednesday evening.
According to ISP, the crash happened at around 8:30 p.m. on Ronald Reagan Parkway near Interstate 70. Police say troopers with ISP located a stolen car in the 4900 block of Kentucky Avenue in Indianapolis. They attempted to conduct a traffic stop, which resulted in a pursuit. ISP says the pursuit continued to Ronald Reagan Parkway, where a trooper, identified as 5-year ISP veteran Aaron Smith, was deploying stop sticks to end the pursuit. Smith was struck by the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect then crashed as well. That suspect, an 18-year-old man from Missouri, has been arrested and faces a preliminary charge of murder.
