According to Daily Mail, Juanita Gray was the woman allegedly run over by her son JaJuan Burley on Friday morning in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Burley, 38, had refused to pull over earlier that morning and led police on a high-speed chase lasting about 20 minutes until he pulled into his mother?s home. It was reported there was an ?item exchange between the suspect and mother?. When the 57-year-old attempted to return inside, her son sent her several feet into the air by ramming his vehicle into her. Burley had also grazed an officer. Several gunshots can be heard after Burley attempts to get away, in which he also was struck by a bullet. Gray refused medical attention at the scene, but is expected to make a full recovery. The suspect and grazed officer are also suffering non-life threatening injuries. Burley has been charged with battery of a deadly weapon, attempted murder, disarming, resisting arrest in a vehicle, and criminal recklessness. Gray is facing a felony charge of obstruction of justice. The incident remains under investigation.
