Distressing video captured the moment a police dog in Ohio mauled a black truck driver who was on his knees and with his hands up ? after a local cop went against a state trooper?s orders not to release the K-9.

Jadarrius Rose, 23, of Memphis, Tennessee, failed to stop his semi-trailer for a Motor Carrier Enforcement inspector while driving with a missing mud flap on US 35 in Jackson County on July 4, WSYX reported.

He led troopers on a 25-minute chase through Chillicothe, driving erratically and narrowly avoiding spike sticks before a second set blew out his tires on Route 23 in Circleville, about 30 miles south of Columbus.

Footage released Friday by the Ohio State Highway Police shows a state trooper yelling at Rose to approach him as a Circleville police German shepherd is held back by its handler.

Meanwhile, a Circleville cop appears to give a conflicting order.Rose was treated at Adena Regional Medical Center, where he told troopers ?he did nothing wrong and did not understand why he was being stopped,? according to a case report cited by CNN.

After being released from the hospital, Rose was charged with failure to comply, a fourth-degree felony, according to the Highway Patrol. He has been released from the Ross County Jail. A trooper shouts: ?Get the dog off him!?

?As troopers were attempting to gain compliance by providing verbal commands to the suspect, the Circleville Police Department deployed their canine, which resulted in the suspect being bitten by the canine,? Ohio State Highway Patrol Sgt. Ryan Purpura told Cleveland19 in a statement. Purpura said the case remains under investigation.

The Circleville Police Department told WSYX that the city?s Use of Force Review Board also is investigating the incident ? but did not say whether Speakman was placed on paid leave.

Orlando, Florida — On July 3, 2023, around 1:51 a.m., three Orlando police officers on bicycles were conducting proactive patrols at East Jefferson Street and North Orange Avenue when they approached 26-year-old Derek Diaz in a car. Bodycam videos shared by police shows officers approaching Diaz’s car, ordering him to turn off his music and put his hands on the steering wheel. Police said at the time he was suspected of illegal drug activity and pulled over. “Give me that. Give me the other one, and put your hands on the steering wheel right now,” officer Jose Velez told him, pointing to two items in Diaz’s hands that appear to be wrapped in foil. Officer Velez then told Diaz not to move. Another officer opened the driver’s side door.

Diaz turned to the other side and opened the center console. “Put your hands on the steering wheel, put your hands on the steering wheel,” Velez said. Diaz appeared to again reach toward the console. Then, Velez shot. Just hours after the shooting, Police determined that Diaz had drugs on him, but he was not armed with a weapon. A separate angle from the officer on the passenger side shows a small item flying from the driver’s side window just before the shooting. The police department said this object was “later identified as narcotics.” Police went to aid Diaz after the shooting. The bodycam footage shows Diaz being dragged out of his car and onto the ground, where an officer began to perform CPR. Orlando police continued to perform CPR on Diaz until the Orlando Fire Department arrived. Diaz was pronounced dead at the hospital. Posted by PSmooth
