Indonesian Band Element Celebrates 23rd Anniversary, Renaga Tahier To Open

Written by on 10/03/2022

Element is celebrating its two-decade workmanship and anniversary as a band this March. Scheduled to perform on Mar.14 at the Hard Rock Cafe in Jakarta, the program will see Renaga Tahier perform as the opening act.

Pop-rock band Element has had a prominent history performing at Hard Rock Cafe in Jakarta ever since they announced their comeback as a band in 2017. Having launched their band career in 1999 with the release of Hanyalah Cinta and Galau by Universal Music Indonesia, the band has stamped many successes despite the challenges that pulled them apart in the first place. Over the years their popularity is increasingly seen as Southeast Asia’s most romantic pop genre found in the Malay language.

Their latest album New World – Resonansi (2020) and Liversion (2021) are still some of the best albums to date. Nevertheless, the band’s reputation would never have come to this far if not for the other singles that also launched the pop-rock band to fame. These include Pergilah Adinda and Bukan Orang Suci.

Renaga Tahier is recently known for having released Rahasia Hati, a song published by AFE Records – not at all by chance but coincidentally composed by Element band member, Ferdy Tahier, who is also Renaga’s father.

AFE RECORDS (@aferecords) is one of the record companies to be reckoned with in the Indonesian music industry. AFE RECORDS always strives to be at the forefront of the Indonesian music industry, bringing in diverse and influential artist such as 3 Composers, Ifan Seventeen, The Potters, The ROW, Juliette, Sahrul Gunawan, Nicky Tirta, Ihsan Tarore, Rizky Billar and many others.
