‘Wizkid’s De Paul’ – King Promise Faces Serious Social Media Backlash Following A Press Release Statement

Written by on 12/12/2022

King Promise is having a difficult time on social media after releasing a press statement to address the unfortunate events that occurred during the #WizkidLiveAccra event. After numerous fans flocked to the venue to see them perform, King Promise and Wizkid did not show up for the event. They weren’t the only ones that abandoned the event. R2bees also failed to appear. Wizkid issued a press statement addressing the incident a few hours earlier, stating his inability to appear as an error on the part of the promoter, who failed to fulfil all provisions in the agreement. In a press statement, King Promise also outlined his reasons for missing the event. He gave justifications that were comparable to Wizkid’s. 🙏🏾💚🇬🇭 pic.twitter.com/XYLZB4FXYX — King Promise (@IamKingPromise) December 11, 2022 He has received harsh criticism on social media for abandoning his own people in favor of bootlicking Wizkid.
